Connecting
the Dots 2023 – Call for Papers
Connecting
the Dots is Canada's largest educational and professional development
conference focused on education, technology, and employment for people who are
blind or partially sighted.
Organized by CNIB, the conference features
thought-provoking workshops, keynote presentations and panel discussions on a
variety of topics connected to the conference theme.
The
goal of the conference is to bring people together to partake in dynamic experiences
and informative conversations about education, technology and employment by
exposing them to innovative ideas, research findings, new products, emerging
trends, and networking opportunities. Share
your unique perspectives and knowledge!
NEW for 2023! Connecting the Dots will be hosting a series of short, impactful talks called CTD Spotlights that will maximize engagement and foster deeper thought-provoking conversations in follow-on interactions. All sessions will be comprised of:
- CTD Spotlights of maximum 10 minutes in length
- 3-5 CTD spotlights per hour with a 30-40 minutes follow-up "Break Out" Q&A activity held in-person or virtually
- Those wishing to speak for a longer duration will be considered on a case-by-case basis and may involve a fee to the speaker/group
Have
an idea for a CTD Spotlight? Submit a proposal! Presenters will receive complimentary
access to the conference for the day of their presentation. A discounted
registration fee will also be provided for presenters wanting to attend the
conference on a day they are not presenting.
